Sports Medicine

With more than 15 years of experience covering local, professional and international sports, our physicians provide aggressive non-surgical care for a wide variety of athletes. We treat athletes of all ages participating in all sports, from amateur to professional. We have specialized experience treating elite level baseball, soccer, football and running injuries. Our physicians provide on-field, event and training room coverage, as well as assist in team physicals and medical consultation and treatment. Our goal is to get athletes back to play as quickly and safely as possible.

What types of conditions do we treat?

Our physicians are expertly trained to manage sprain and strains as well as the following common muscle, joint and bone conditions: 

  • Spine: osteoarthritis, herniated discs, stress fractures, radiculopathy
  • Shoulders: effusions, AC joint sprains, rotator cuff tears, dislocations, impingement, little league shoulder
  • Elbows: ulnar collateral ligament, tendonitis, tendinosis, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, little league elbow
  • Wrists: tendonitis
  • Hips: tendonitis, labral tears, hip pointers
  • Knees: effusions, patellofemoral pain, meniscus tears, ACL or PCL tears, MCL or LCL sprains
  • Ankles/Feet: effusions, sprains, tendonitis, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis
